Since their inception in 1998 with the seminal Cascades Of Colour EP (King Street Sounds / Nite Grooves), Ananda Project has steadily cultivated a dynamic tour-de-force that is accessible in the clubs and beyond. The brainchild of internationally-acclaimed producer / composer / remixer and DJ Chris Brann (of Wamdue Project / P’TAAH fame), the Atlanta-based collective (which features core members Brann, vocalists Terrance Downs and Heather Johnson and Julius Speed on keyboards / Rhodes, alongside a host of guest contributors) continues to inspire and enchant music lovers worldwide with their eclectic and sensuous sounds that meld euphoric soulful house with contemplative r&b, spiritually-minded cosmic jazz-fusion, organic Balearic grooves, supple electronic textures and percussive Afro-Latin rhythms.

Fresh from their much-talked-about UK debut at the Southport Weekender festival, a deep house music lover’s mecca, Ananda Project reconvene with Night Blossom, a remix revisitation of the American house outfit’s third full length album.

Collected here are the finest dancefloor-ready reworks from Fire Flower including productions by Grammy Award nominated remixer Jay-J, Pasta Boys, Frankie Feliciano, and Kevin Hedge of Blaze plus previously unreleased remixes from Joe Claussell and UK remix duo Idjut Boys. The album also includes an alternate version of “Let Love Fly” and an all new track, “Moment Before Dreaming”.

Madrid de los Austrias consists of the DJ and A&R of Sunshine Enterprises Heinz Tronigger & the sound wizard Pogo. Heavy vino tinto, flamenco and other typical andalusian flavours inspired the MDLA duo to their sound excursion combining a laid back laissez faire feeling with exotic rhythm shades.

They gained a lot of airplay in the finer radiostations all over the world and lots of good reputation in the music press. Madrid de los Austrias is also known for their amazing live extravaganza which showcase some of the finest studio and live musicians.

“This Is How We Lounge 2 EP” is a DJ friendly teaser to the second instalment of the Sunshine Enterprises label compilation series presenting vinyl only tracks on CD album format. This limited 10 inch collectors item features two exclusive tracks! Madrid de los Austrias´ “Buscando” which gets an absolute amazing reinterpretation by Karuan & Circus. They’ve put together their talents to come up with a laidback prime headnodder, melodic and dope at the same time. Big Ups for that one! London’s Don Phil Asher did a fabulous job on Champion Soul’s “Holdin´ On”. He took it directly to soul heaven.

Nobody trips over mountains.  It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble.  Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain.
